Family Reconciliation Basic Training.

The Estonian Association of Conciliators is the person conducting the training.

Basic training for family recipients complies with the Adult Education Act: Adult Education Act - State Journal

Purpose of training is to provide basic family-spinning training for the profession of family-spinner or for the professional professional professional growth of the disciplines that come with family-spinning. The person who has completed basic training as a family conciliator of the Estonian Society of Conciliators (ELU) will be able to work as a family conciliator either in the private sector or as a national family conciliator if the corresponding additional examination of the Social Security Administration has been passed. On the basis of a basic training certificate, it is possible to apply for the highest level of quality of the family concierge, i.e. the invitation of the family concierge (level 6 or level 7, more detailed information  Application for a Family Conciliator Invitation).

The full price of basic training with classroom learning, the fee for supervisors and the final examinations of basic training is €2,760 (it is possible to pay the invoice in parts).

We are looking forward to the training with higher education, preferably specialists in the fields of psychology, social sciences or law, but also representatives of other disciplines who want to improve themselves in the field of family mediation are suitable..

The basic training programme for family conciliators carried out by the EU corresponds to the nouns of the poodle training for family conciliators in Europe and during which a certificate will be issued. On the basis of an affidavit, it is voriable to pass the professional examination of the family concierge and to apply for the invitation of the family concierge, accompanied by a Europass (which allows to work throughout Europe under suitable conditions). 

The initial basic training programme for family survivors was confirmed in November 2008 by a regulation of the Minister of Social Affairs. The programme is modernised and supplemented annually in accordance with the requirements of basic training for European family survivors.

The training program consists of the main part (auditory learning), individual work with learning-materials, supervised practice, and two exams. The conditions for completion of the basic training, i.e. admission to the exam, are the participation in the auditory study to the extent of 80% and the practice of the supervised customer work performed, as confirmed by the feedback of the supervisor on the conduct of the client work to be trained. Perhaps, the prerequisite for completing the training is:
1. participation and co-working in auditory learning
2. conducting a supervised practice (supervisor feedback)
3rd Theory Exam to Evaluate Acquired Knowledge (Examination Committee)
4th practical exam to assess acquired skills (demonstration before the examination committee)

Once the prerequisites for completing the training are met, the certificate will be issued with a list of acquired learning outcomes. If any part of the requirements remain unfulfilled, proof of completed learning outcomes will be issued.  A certificate of basic training for family conciliators grants the rights to work as a family conciliator, but it is also recommended to apply for a family conciliator's invitation. The basic training certificate is the basis for applying for a family-spinner's invitation.

Learning arrangements for basic family reconciliation training organised by the EU and bases for ensuring the quality of activities in accordance with the Adult Education Act.

You will receive a confirmation of your participation in the training by e-mail. Certificate of basic training or analog training for family survivors of the EEC certificate (THE)is the basis for applying for a family conciliation profession.

The total training capacity is 220 ac/hours, of which 184 ac/hours is the volume of auditory and practical work (supervisions of the practice carried out with the supervisor) and 36 ac/hours of independent teaching. The language of instruction is Estonian and English (interpretation on site if necessary).

A separate training contract is concluded with each person who wants the training, where the conditions for participation in the training and payment (including withdrawal from the training) are agreed. After the conclusion of the training contract, the participants will receive a comprehensive syllabus.

The training providers for basic training for family conciliators are: Anneli Sand Mountain-HitrovHelle ThreadJanusKangurHelen Voice, Gerry O'Sullivan, Anastasia Sanches-Fernandez and Birgitte Beelen.

Training takes place every 3 or 4 weeks from behind on Friday and Saturday. Training courses are held in Tallinn. The dates of the training modules will be sent after registration for the training.

I MODULE

Learning outputs
Know the principles and objectives of family mediation and understand the role and tasks of the family conciliator.

Observation and analysis of practical tasks. Discussions and, as a result, the evaluation of the learning output

MODULE II

Learning outputs
Oriented in types of conflict, levels of escalation and modes of intervention, and select appropriate intervention strategies

- Nature of conflict, species, solution strategies for different species
- Tiers of escalation of conflict and modes of intervention
- Specifics of relationship conflicts
- Self-analysis of conflict behavior
- Communication in family conciliation

Evaluation of learning output
Group Reflection to establish relationships with the theme of the previous module. Analysis of practical tasks. Discussions and, as a result, the evaluation of the learning output.

III MODULE

Learning outputs
Orient in the legislation in force in Estonia relating to family conciliation and are aware of the legal practice in relation to divorce/departure.

1. Laws relating to family law apply in Estonia
2. Legal practices related to divorce and separation
3. Laws relating to the area of family mediation apply in Estonia and
other legislation

Evaluation of learning output
Discussions and, as a result, the evaluation of the learning output. Demonstration of knowledge and skills in solving co-ops.

IV MODULE

Learning outputs
Know the principles and partial plans of the negotiations to use negotiation strategies.

1. Nature, types and basic concepts of negotiations
2. Strategy and Tactics for Distributive and Compounding Negotiations
3. The process of compound negotiations
4. Behavior of effective negotiators, communication

Evaluation of learning output
Role performance by demonstrating negotiation techniques. Self-appropriate analysis. Negotiator role performance.

V MODULE

Learning outputs
Analyze and classify the impact factors of the family reconciliation process and can count on them in their work as a family spinner

Themes:
1. Dynamics of family relationships
2. Know the psychological and
emotional impact factors
3. Possibility of family conciliation in the case of intimate partner violence
4. Factors affecting the family conciliation process (i.e. power dynamics)
5. Genogram

Learning methods:
- short lectures

- genogram compilation and self-appropriate analysis on the basis of genogram
- discussions

Evaluation of learning output
Group Reflection to establish connections with family reconciliation specifics, the role of the conciliator and the laws that come with family reconciliation. Analysis of effects. Self-appropriate analysis on the basis of genogram.


VI MODULE

Learning outputs
Plan a family mediation process, decide intervention strategies and apply the knowledge to date in their activities in carrying out the process.

4. Communication in family mediation
5. Basics of the professional behaviour of the family conciliator

Role performances and personal feedback on role performance. Analysis of cases with the reflection of what has been learned before.

VII MODULE

Learning outputs
Have an overview of the specifics of international family mediation and are able to guide clients on their international child abduction issues.

1. Specifics and principles of international family mediation
2. Legal regulations for cross-border cases
3. Models of cross-border family mediation
4. Definition and modes of intervention of child abduction
5. Importance of cultural differences

Analysis of international sample charges. Group Reflection in the implementation of an international family reconciliation model.

VIII MODULE

Learning outputs
Guided and assisted parents in supporting children. Inform parents about children's rights.

1. Effect of divorce on psyche and behavior of children
2. Interaction of parents with children after the end of cohabitation
3. Aspects of adaptation to post-divorce changes in children
4. Feel parental alienation syndrome and use relevant
modes of intervention

Role performance analysis. Analysis of sample settlements.

IX MODULE

Learning outputs
Part plans to conduct child questioning. Identify the interests and needs of children in relation to the separation of parents and analyse the information they receive from children.

3. Using alternative tools in interviewing children

Evaluation of learning output
Feedback on role performance as a child pollster. Self-appropriate analysis.

X MODUL

Learning outputs
design and manage the family mediation process using the respective intervention strategies and evaluate the performance of the process.

- grinding family mediation skills
- coping with "traps" and threats
- Code of Professional Behavior of the Family Spinner
- analysis of practice cases
- self-analysis as a family spinner

Learning methods:
- role playing games
- self-analysis

Evaluation of learning output
Feedback on role performance. Self-appropriate analysis as a family spinner, both in group and individually. Demonstration of the integration of previous knowledge and experience in the family mediation process. Analysis of the professional behaviour of the family conciliator.

Important!*Training rooms are accessible for people with special needs.
*Training takes place at 70% as contact training, if necessary as hybrid learning, modules related to the external lecturer take place in an online environment with a translation in Estonian.
*Returns per training can be communicated by the trainers at the end of each module.
